Great food and service. The food is so good here that it started out as a little restaurant in the side of a gas station and now they’ve grown into a major restaurant in Pocatello! We had the crawfish bisque, so creamy and flavorful, with just the right kick! Also had the lasagne; big serving full of yummy cheese, great sauce and big tasty chunks of meat, likely the best around!
As a New Yorker I’m very picky with Italian food. This place is so good I went two nights in a row. The crab stuffed halibut was fantastic. The lasagna had a wonderful flavor. Get both. I loved their house salad with olives and balsamic. The cannolis were not traditional but very tasty. They had a cinnamon cream instead of cannoli filling but I still enjoyed them. Leah is a wonderful kind and attentive waitress. She really made the whole experience wonderful. The decor is very unique. You can sit in a room with art or next to a view of the sand garden with sculptures. There is a full bar in the restaurant also.
Every time I am in Pocatello, I make a point to stop at Cafe Tuscano. They have made so many improvements over the years and I am impressed by all of them. With all the hotels, and attractions around and easy access from the freeway, it makes this almost a no-brainer as a stop for an amazing Italian dinner. There are plenty of seating options both in the restaurant and improved lounge and I have never had to wait for a seat. There is plenty of space for families and couples alike. The wine offerings are world-wide and the parings are all clearly identified on the menu. The food choices are plentiful without being overwhelming. Highly recommend the crawfish bisque and the crab stuffed halibut (pictured). We were so impressed in how everything was cooked, we had to comment on how well the finest details of the dishes were attended to. Crispy vegetables still with a crunch, flaky and moist fish, spices at exceptional levels. We were told the head chef also teaches at the local college! We were well fed and felt like family the whole time. Can't wait for out next trip to Pocatello and Cafe Tuscano.
This was delicious! We stopped for coffee and settled for iced tea and water. We had blackberry Brie flatbread and the tiramisu. Tiramisu is non traditional and served in a cup but really good but the star of the show was the flatbread. We will be back for certain.
My wife and I have never had a bad meal at Cafe Tuscano. From their pizza to their saltimbocca to their sea bass; they obviously take great pride in their dishes and always cook them to perfection! Even years after our first time experiencing this wonderful restaurant we are still impressed!
WOW! Now this place is GREAT! Had a wonderful dinner here while visiting the area. Prices are in line with current inflated cost of food and service. Service is good and paid attention to refilling drinks and clearing empty glasses and plates as needed. Food prepared well and timely. Had lots of flavor and great temperature. Got a pizza that was appealing to the eyes and taste buds. If you're looking for good Italian in this area please stop in here and enjoy!

This is by far the best restaurant in Pocatello. It's worth every penny! The food was so full of flavor. It was definitely created by a high-end chef. The cocktails were fabulous and the suggested wine pairing with the food is spot on. We ordered the tri tip fettuccine and the crab stuffed halibut. Exquisitely divine! The tiramisu was the closest I have found to Europe. The cheesecake was the best I have ever had. What a delightful hidden gem! Must stop if driving through or visiting.
